We hope it gives you an insight into the progress of Lacquer Studios and what we are able to achieve, whether it is creating new work in collaboration with our clients, one-off pieces or large conservation projects.

Estoril Fashion Art Festival. A boomerang project, where a simple white shirt was passed on amongst 3 interdisciplanary artists. Pedro da Costa Felgueiras Coloborated with Michelle Rafferty from Marni and Marcus Griffith, acessories designer at Burburry.

Creation of original art work and execution of a five metres long lacaquered pannel for a private residece in Notting Hill, London.
Japanning & Gilt Metals
Pedro's own belonvingly restored georgian house. This dwelling is part of a group of houses that were earmarked for demolition but were rescued by the Spitalfields Trust. Pedro was invited to purchase one to serve as a gidance example to the other houses. This one particular house was restored using traditional building and painting tecniques. This house has appeared in several publications and for a few years it served as Pedro's 'laboratory' and has lead to many other comissions.

Collaboration with Roland Cowan Architects consisting of a large wall in the garden of the architects's headquarters. Developed from multiple layers of pigmented glazes.
